Blitz Puff Pastry w/ Nicole Plue

Flakey, buttery and tender, all in equal measure, blitz puff pastry is a versatile all-star in any baker’s repertoire. Faster and more forgiving than traditional puff, it’s excellent practice on the magic of creating layers. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll make the dough start to finish and fashion it into a wide variety of pastries; sweet and savory tarts, turnovers, knishes, borekas and more.
As an attendee, you will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. All guests are required to wear masks when indoors.

A recipient of the James Beard Award for Outstanding Pastry Chef, Nicole Plue has worked extensively in restaurants in both the Bay Area and New York City. For the past eight years, she has been teaching aspiring pastry chefs and ambitious home bakers in her role as Director of Pastry Arts at San Francisco Cooking School.
