Summer Ice Cream!

Spend the afternoon learning how to make delicious fresh ice cream and all of its delicious toppings with chef and Real Cool Frozen Treats owner Maria deCorpo in this hands-on workshop. With guidance from Maria, you’ll work in groups as you learn how to make three inventive ice cream flavors using three different kinds of dairy milk and one non-dairy sorbet, all with local ingredients. You will also learn how to make those yummy toppings that will really put your ice cream sundaes over the top!
The class will make and taste Tangy Lemon Goat’s Milk Ice Cream, Gianduia Cow’s Milk Ice Cream and Strawberry-Rosewater Sorbet. Topping recipes will include Buttery Caramel Sauce, Deep Dark Chocolate Sauce, Candied Nuts and Waffle Cones. All workshop participants will take home samples of ice cream and toppings and a, a packet of recipes and a 10% discount card for purchases made in the Artisan Baking Center retail store the day of the class. It’s perfect for stocking up on supplies for your next ice cream adventure!
